The simple materials have been greatly appreciated by myself and my students. \r\n Each desk has a pawprint sticker on the corner, which is often used by both groups of kids. My English class who comes in the afternoon frequently sits down and rubs the stickers to calm down as I am taking attendance. The velcro dots have been wonderful for keeping the nametags and table numbers in place and off the floor.\r\n During the first week of school we used the \"people\" color crayons to draw ourselves. The variety of colors provided a great opportunity to compare our own skin colors, highighting that differences don't separate us, but rather make each of us unique. My kids have continued to look for ways they can use their differences to support each other and enrich our classroom family. Students have since taken those pictures home to share with families.\r\n The playdoh has been used in a variety of settings, but especially during rainy day recess. I love that they are using their imagination. The physical smooshing of the dough and all the fun that play doh brings are great ways to enjoy the break from studying. The plastic sleeves are used daily for a variety of math and writing activities, along with a few drawings. :)\r\n Each time I introduce another material you provided, I remind the kids these were sent to us by someone who doesn't even know us. A special person who wants them to enjoy school and learn a lot. They often assume I bought these treasures. I tell them it is even more wonderful because I didn't have to spend my money to buy them. As we recently celebrated \"unity\" day, your gift has been brought back to mind as a great way to show kindness. We will continue to use these items all year long, and think of you each time we do.\r\n Thank you seems to simple so I, adding a wish for you to somehow be the recipient of an act of kindness so you too may feel the joy it brings!","fullyFundedDate":1785802977562,"projectUrl":"project/calm-caring-classroom/10418613/","projectTitle":"Calm, Caring Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Celestino","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1496681_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1733022675669","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1496681"},{"teacherId":1496681,"projectId":9859384,"letterContent":"The resources you provided have been used by kids from kinder to fifth grade. My teacher team placed the movement paths in various hallways throughout the building. As kids travel from one room to another they are often seen hopping along the raindrops, leaves and letters. Even the older kids have loved jumping around the snail's shell. My class is lucky enough to have the robot in our room. The morning arrival routine includes jumping the hopscotch and it happens again when my language class comes in for the afternoon session. Due to such heavy use, we are hoping to order more paths for next year!\r\n The sensory stickers are on each desk in our room. Some have been used and are due to be replaced. The large quantity in the pack means I will be able to put new ones out after spring break! We will be using the bookmarks after spring break, as well. \r\n As a teacher, I firmly believe students cannot focus on learning untile their physical and emotional needs are met. The tools you provided for my students have greatly helped me in that task. And, I look forward to using the Christmas picture frames with my new kids next year.\r\n While it seems too simple, may the words \"Thank You!\" help you know the joy the \"dolphins\" have enjoyed because of your gift!","fullyFundedDate":1766500264183,"projectUrl":"project/movement-and-creativity/9859384/","projectTitle":"Movement and Creativity","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Celestino","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1496681_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1733022675669","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1496681"},{"teacherId":598868,"projectId":9546669,"letterContent":"Thank you for your donation to the ART FOR ALL project; it has benefitted my students in ways I didn't expect! \r\n\r\nThe triangular markers are easy to open and have a rounded tip that allows students to color in the same vivid colors as their peers with a smooth and balanced drawing experience.
