I know there are a lot of projects out there and no one is more deserving than others. \r\nThis was something I did not share with my students until testing happened. I had a smaller class size for testing, due to it being my intervention class. These students are behind in reading and writing. While other students are doing study hall or playing games in our advisory period, my students are learning how to read. \r\nI put together these bags on the first day of testing. We test two weeks back to back, but only two days each week. \r\nEach day my students were able to get a new snack bag. They were so excited. They were able to switch snacks with each other, depending on their preferred snack. They were able to know that they would have some fuel to give their body before and after their tests (if they did not eat them all before the test). I let them know people on the internet donated so that they could have snacks. The gratitude they felt was unimaginable.
