They had fun helping open the packages, opening the filling materials packages, and stuffing the bean bags. We made a little mess with the materials.\r\n\r\nOne student sat on a bean bag not long after it had been refilled and asked why it smelled funny. We got to talk about the materials, how they were packaged, and why they had a smell afterwards.\r\n\r\nThey really like the newest bean bag cover. The texture is different from the others we have. The new filling material also makes it heavier than the others. When these first arrived, the students got to unpack them and then use their muscles to pump them up. They have learned to make sure the wheels are not locked when they want to roll the chair to a new location. Some students use these chairs every day. \r\n\r\nThese chairs have added to the options students have for alternative seating in my classroom. Wiggly students can use these chairs to move without distracting their classmates. That helps keep everyone focused on what they are doing.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your generous donation to our classroom.
