Right off the bat, my students instantly wanted to enjoy our new toys. To them it's play, but for all of our teachers in the room it's intentional. \r\nWe opened the gifts together and talked about sharing and taking turns. We use their AAC devices to talk about what is happening and how we can request preferred items. They have been learning so much.\r\nIt's easy for my students to play alone, they prefer it! It's hard for them to play together, even with adults. These toys make it possible for them to practice those skills. Each and everyday they enjoy these items. We have added them to their toys page on their AAC devices and they have been requesting them each day.
