The resources you have donated to our classroom have made an impact our on learning and engagement.\r\n\r\nUp until the time we received our packages, my 4th and 5th grade students were trying to use small, child-sized scissors. While a few of my students could do so somewhat successfully, most are big enough that trying to put their hands into such a little handle would cause frustration and messy work. Now they love being able to pick out a \"big kid\" pair in such bright, fun colors! \r\n\r\nThe \"Yacker Tracker\" has had the greatest impact overall. It has created a visual for students when doing collaborative work and they are now better skilled at keeping their voices to the appropriate level. They have even created a game out of it where I get to give myself points for every time the tracker gives them a red light!
