Your support has made a meaningful and immediate impact on my students, and I am so grateful to share how these resources are being used every day.\r\n\r\nSince receiving the books, we have been incorporating them into our daily routines in a variety of ways. Many of the books are now part of our structured reading time, where students explore stories through adapted read-alouds, visuals, and hands-on supports. My students love to take time each day to explore the variety of books we now have. It provides them with opportunities to learn how to use books correctly, explore a variety of stories, and just have a quiet calm moment in the classroom to be independent through choice by choosing what they want to look at.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new books, their excitement was immediate and genuine. Many were drawn to the bright pictures and engaging topics, eagerly flipping through pages and exploring them in their own ways. Some students who are still developing early literacy skills showed increased attention and curiosity, while others quickly gravitated toward favorite themes and characters. The books have truly helped create a more inviting and enriching classroom environment.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we are continuing to build on this momentum by integrating the books into thematic units and individualized learning goals. Our next steps include expanding opportunities for students to use multimodal communication—such as augmentative communication devices, visuals, and verbal language—during reading activities. We are also working on increasing comprehension skills by connecting stories to real-life experiences, sequencing events, and making choices about what we read. These books will continue to play a vital role in helping students develop communication, engagement, and a love for learning.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has not only provided us with materials—it has created opportunities, breakthroughs, and joyful moments in our classroom.
