Your support has made a meaningful impact on our gardening program by providing hands-on experiences that teach life and work skills. \r\n\r\nWith the plants, compost, and pots that we received, the students are gaining valuable knowledge about plant care, responsibility, and teamwork. By experimenting with different light, soil, and water conditions, students are learning the basics of indoor plant care. We have learned that the tropical plants prefer and thrive in the West-facing windows and the ferns like the East-facing windows. Students have also learned how to mix soil and compost for the best plant results. These skills - responsibility, teamwork - are the kinds of transferable skills we help students learn for both independent living as well as employment. Your support is helping us cultivate not only a thriving gardening program but also confidence and independence in our students. I appreciate your believing in their potential and making this opportunity possible. \r\n\r\nThank you again for your generosity and for making a difference in our students' lives.","fullyFundedDate":1735338033671,"projectUrl":"project/plant-care-101-cultivating-life-and-wor/8858850/","projectTitle":"Plant Care 101: Cultivating Life and Work Skills","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Bederka","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1775551_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y386&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1607643378716","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1775551"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_127391","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":null,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":86,"percentAsian":6,"percentBlack":8,"percentWhite":22,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":37,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Not specified","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR District Record","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"UNCLASSIFIED","ncesMetroType":null},"inStateSupporters":71.9,"schoolId":127391,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Reynolds Community Transition Program on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Reynolds Community Transition Program","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/oregon/reynolds-school-district-7/reynolds-community-transition-program/127391"}
