This is not an easy task, and I certainly do not take it lightly; it is my honor and privilege to do this. Lately, and I am sure I am not alone, it feels like I am in competition with the instant availability of portable technology. I am all for technology, and I appreciate the availability of art and culture, and the ability for students to have that at the ready. But, I also know the value in holding a book, and being engaged with the printed page, and your donation has shown me that you value this as well.\r\nAdditionally, I would like to add that my students loved this book. The final for the novel was a Socratic Seminar, which was entirely student driven. They created the questions, the debate, the conversations, and it was riveting. \r\nThank you again for positively contributing to my students.","fullyFundedDate":1734380237297,"projectUrl":"project/station-eleven-reboot/9002131/","projectTitle":"Station Eleven Reboot","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Mensing","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8655024"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_87732","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":896,"numTeachers":45,"percentFrplEligible":64,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":72,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":21,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"19.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":57.4,"schoolId":87732,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Redmond High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Redmond High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/oregon/redmond-school-district-2j/redmond-high-school/87732"}
