This year I moved to a new grade level after being out of the classroom for a year. I only had half a set of headphones for the class and after a few weeks of school, most had been broken due to their lack of quality. I asked families if they were able to provide headphones for their child to send them to school, but only a few families were able to. My school is a title 1 school and many families are not financially able to support their child's classroom. So your donations helped to bridge a big gap in what we needed in my 4th grade class and what we had. \r\n Students were so excited to get these headphones and pick out a pair in their favorite colors! So far these headphones have held up super well and I think they will be able to last for several years to be used by students at my school. \r\n On behalf of myself and my students, thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts!","fullyFundedDate":1757555445283,"projectUrl":"project/durable-headphones-for-4th-graders/9595526/","projectTitle":"Durable Headphones for 4th Graders!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Petersen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp1558374_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1472618385904","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/irene-petersen"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_88257","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":306,"numTeachers":24,"percentFrplEligible":65,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":25,"percentWhite":36,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":18,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"12.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":60.6,"schoolId":88257,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Woodlawn Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Woodlawn Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/oregon/portland-public-schools/woodlawn-elementary-school/88257"}
