The gift of even just these few items has made a big impact on our class. The trap table has been the biggest help. Not only has it come in handy in it's intended purpose, but it's doubled as a xylophone stand as well, which has been extremely helpful for one of our upcoming May concert songs where 10 of the 12 students will be playing a xylophone, marimba or glockenspiel. \r\nThe second biggest help is having another snare drum, allowing us to have 8 students playing snare at the same time for our other May concert song. With 12 students and the goal of teaching them drum cadences, this is a big help and really makes it fun for the the students.\r\nAs a teacher, I thank you for the mallets and music. Having classroom mallets, for when the students forget theirs, and more repertoire to choose from, really allows me to select pieces at the students' ability levels and that they will hopefully enjoy playing as well. With this being a new class, I started the year with almost no repertoire to choose from. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
