Students often find themselves participating in self-paced independent reading time, literature circles, and when they aren't reading, they are discussing what they have read with their classmates.\r\n\r\nMany students have read works by Lois Lowry before, so many were excited to dive into another story written by her.\r\n\r\nIn addition to the new books, I have been able to add some other independent reading books for my students.
