The students in our program are completely online. They come in once a week for counseling, tutoring, guidance and love! Having snacks and treats available for them help to create a positive atmosphere that they look foward to hanging out in.\r\n\r\nAny incentive I can give my students to encourage them to come to their weekly meetings is great. Students come in to see me for their weekly session and then can choose a snack or treat on their way out. It is an easy and fun way for us to connect and for me to reward their behavior.\r\n\r\nStudents can also choose a treat when they come in to take their finals. It is a way for me to say, \"Great work!\" and give them a little something special.
