It has quickly become the heart of our learning space, and we couldn't be more grateful.\r\n\r\nOur new carpet serves as our everyday learning hub. We used it during a science lesson on the water cycle, students gathered on the rug in small groups. They acted out evaporation, condensation, and precipitation using props, engaging physically and staying focused in this welcoming, defined zone. Research shows that classroom rugs create distinct learning areas and boost collaboration and attention\r\n\r\nThe moment students walked into see their new carpet, they were so excited and loved how bright and special it made our classroom. They were so excited to pick a smile to sit on as their new designated spot. \r\n\r\nLooking ahead, the carpet will anchor our reading circle, morning meetings, centers, and so many other activities I have planned for this year. \r\n\r\nBecause of your generous gift, our classroom is now not only more inviting and warm but also more effective and joyful. Students feel valued you've shown them that their comfort matters.
