Whether it's a group of two kids lying on their tummies playing \"Race to 100\" or the whole class of 26 sitting together as we discuss time, measurement and calendar patterns, students get a sense of coziness and community with our new carpet.\r\n\r\nThe first morning we had the carpet in our room, students took turns tumbling, somersaulting and log-rolling on it. Since then, they have continued to enjoy trying out different activities on it. Its location at the front of the room makes classroom management easier since the kids working there are in view. It's become a popular location for book clubs to meet as well. I can't wait to host our kinder buddies for a group reading time with our carpet as a comfortable option.","fullyFundedDate":1758478234969,"projectUrl":"project/a-carpet-for-our-morning-meetings-and-nu/9651278/","projectTitle":"A Carpet for Our Morning Meetings and Number Talks","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. McIlrath","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9271455_orig.jpg?crop=1054,1054,x0,y59&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1694405946169","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9271455"},{"teacherId":6481116,"projectId":9562792,"letterContent":"These material pouches have been an amazing help with our new Math curriculum.
