During this pandemic, students have been forced to do their learning from home. This is so difficult for 9 and 10 year olds who still need so much guidance from their teacher. I believe most of their learning will happen after they turn in assignments and I can give them meaningful feedback. When I give feedback on their math assignments, I like to write on their screen while I record myself giving directions. The Apple Pencil will allow me to write out math examples on the student’s screen in my own handwriting! Hopefully, this will help students feel more like they are at school with me.
