I was back in the building this week preparing for the upcoming school year and spent a lot of time organizing my supplies. So much of what I have has come from the projects I have submitted to Donors Choose. I definitely couldn't provide my students with the opportunities that I have without your help. \r\n\r\nSome of my favorite activities require the use of the dry erase pockets, expo markers, and towels. These are also the most often borrowed supplies from other teachers in the building. It is easy to slip in a double-sided puzzle, worksheet, or handout and have my students get to work. Like with the individual dry erase boards that I've used for years, students can quickly erase any mistakes made and continue working toward a solution. It also helps me to save a lot of paper and time spent at the copy machine. \r\n\r\nThanks again for all of your support over the years. It's incredible to see how they light up and get excited to use them after only knowing dodgeballs that were falling apart after years of use.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for your generosity! You've made a positive impact on nearly 900 students, and that will continue for years to come in our PE department. We have cycled through floor hockey and handball with them, and next up is indoor soccer. The old, clunky, duct-taped goals have now been recycled. Our new goals are so light and easy to move, so it makes our set up and clean up each day a breeze compared to our old and broken equipment.\r\n\r\nIt's amazing to see the pride the students show in taking care of our new goals. They were so excited to see them on the first day we brought them out, and they are really careful when they help move them at the end of the day.\r\n\r\nOur previous goals had so many holes in the nets that the hockey pucks would fly through the holes, so we're all excited to see the pucks staying in the goals when they score! As a school with a very limited budget, your donation has a HUGE impact in our classes.
