The students were so excited to see what has arrived! We immediately added the sensory materials into our explore rotations- new kinetic sand for storytelling and snow for exploring reactions! The LED boards are used everyday during our quiet time and have helped grow literacy skills in a fun way. The students are drawing pictures of each other, writing their friends' names, and gaining confidence in trying to use sounds to spell words. We also have added the magnetic dress up characters into our independent time.\r\n These materials will continue to support and expand excitement in our classroom for years to come. We are so excited to use these materials with our incoming kids next year as well, The new vet x-rays and light board will be a huge hit at the beginning of the year. They took turns practicing working at the food trucks and being customers. This gave them the chance to practice their social and life skills in a meaningful way.
