The students in my second grade class have very high academic and behavioral needs. A majority of the students are well below grade level and require a lot of support. Due to their behavior and academic concerns it is imperative that my students are able to stay engaged during lessons. These stools allow them to move while still focusing on instruction. I have seen them work wonders in other classrooms and I am so excited for my students to have the opportunity to use these. These students deserve every chance to succeed in school and because they are already so far behind I am looking for anything that will help and provide a more equitable educational experience for them. I believe these stools will greatly benefit my students academically and behaviorally.
