The carpet rug with thirty color spots has helped student have their own personal space and sit together to learn science, social studies, and writing. It has also given them the opportunity to do a lot of think and share opinions about topics with their neighbors. The carpet rug is serving 84 first graders, who are divided in 3 classes. Thank you so much for the rug. \r\nThe mailboxes have also helped students organized their work. Each student has their own mail box to safely put their class work. Each student has a folder to put papers inside in their mail box. Thank you so much for the mail boxes. Students are actively using the divider as a work space for a math word wall as well as a place to display their own work. \r\n Students were excited when the boxes arrives, not knowing what was inside. The room dividers were assembled after school hours and students were thrilled to see them the following morning. Students created their own addition problems to go with the current math unit they are working on and have enjoyed practicing their math facts.
