The excitement in our classroom when the students first saw the shelves stocked with new prizes was unforgettable. Their eyes lit up, and many of them immediately began setting goals—deciding whether to save their Bobcat Bucks for something big or spend a little right away.\r\n\r\nThe Bobcat Depot has quickly become more than just a store. Every day, students are motivated to attend school and complete their literacy and math lessons because they know their hard work pays off. During store time, they eagerly practice real-world math skills—adding up their totals, subtracting their Bucks, and sometimes making the tough decision to save instead of spend. One student recently told me, \"I'm saving up for the soccer ball because I've never had one of my own before.\" That moment showed me just how meaningful this project is, not just for academics, but for building responsibility and pride.\r\n\r\nThanks to you, we are keeping this positive momentum going. Our next step is to tie the Bobcat Depot into classroom lessons on financial literacy, where students will explore budgeting, goal-setting, and even making \"purchases\" connected to our academic projects. This means your gift isn't just motivating attendance—it's giving students a foundation of life skills they'll carry with them for years to come.\r\n\r\nFrom the bottom of our hearts, thank you for investing in our students.
