My Kindergarten students are phenomenal scholars! They are eager to learn, read and fulfill their dreams of "when I grow up...". I want to do everything I can to assist them in achieving their goals. Yet, it is not always so easy. I teach in an urban school with the majority of my students coming from impoverished families. Our school does not have a PTA and I do not have a Teacher's Wish list for supplies that is donated to my students. The families struggle to purchase uniforms and thus the items our school does receive is almost always uniforms and basic school supplies. I want to provide my students with the materials they need to achieve their dreams!
