They treated each book with great respect and care. I am excited to use these books with my kids for years to come.\r\n\r\nThe book Wonder was more of an easy read than the other. They were able to read independently and it really helped me see where they are at with not only their vocabulary and reading comprehension. They wrote a summary over each chapter so I knew exactly what they were comprehending as we were reading along. We also incorporated what they think should have been done differently.\r\nThe other book we read together, we broke down each chapter, and cover the questions as well. We also did community projects as well like a canned food drive because we read this book before Christmas break.","fullyFundedDate":1730733541007,"projectUrl":"project/let-them-read/8855370/","projectTitle":"Let Them Read!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Harmon","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9790614_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1751932618926","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9790614"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_87186","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":132,"numTeachers":11,"percentFrplEligible":73,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":59,"percentIndigenous":27,"percentLatinx":1,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"12.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":50.0,"schoolId":87186,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Savanna High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Savanna High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/oklahoma/savanna-school-district-i-30/savanna-high-school/87186"}
