They were even trying to call dibs! They broke into groups of four and took turns reading and choosing the pathways. \r\nThe next day, the same groups used these books as mentor texts. They were provided with the first paragraph of a story with four options. Each student in the group chose and wrote an option, then added two options to their page. On day three, we passed our stories to another group, who ended the storylines.
