Our students are always so excited to open new equipment, their excitement makes it clear how much these resources mean to them as well as us. \r\n\r\nWe are working to create a P.E. environment where every student feels safe, comfortable, and excited to participate. Our goal is to promote a lifetime of movement. We want students to learn fun games and activities they can continue playing with their friends and family outside of P.E.\r\n\r\nThe silent basketballs have been a huge help in creating a calmer, less overstimulating environment. They also help students who may be nervous about throwing and catching a regular basketball because they are afraid of getting hurt. These students now have a way to practice and build confidence in a more comfortable setting.\r\n\r\nThe hula hoops are being used in many of our teamwork and team-building games, helping students practice communication, cooperation, and problem-solving. Our dodgeballs are used daily, so having new ones is especially helpful because of the wear and tear from constant use.\r\n\r\nAs we continue using these resources, our students will keep learning new games, building confidence, and discovering ways to stay active throughout their lives. Your generosity is helping us make P.E. a place where every student can feel successful, included, and excited to move.
