Our class has had so much fun as they learn so many skills using these items. They were so excited and could hardly wait their turn. One particular activity was adding all kinds of different letters, uppercase and lowercase along with different textures and having the students sort them to match the letter written on the sorting mat. Along with building their letter skills they are also strengthening their fine motor skills. We have also used the Tough Tray during our community helpers unit using the township mat and all of the community helpers vehicles. Some upcoming activities that we will be using the Tough Tray for will be shape and color sorting as well as number recognition activities. Thank you so much for giving my students the opportunity to engage in their learning objectives in a fun and hands on way.","fullyFundedDate":1736887823628,"projectUrl":"project/adventure-in-a-tray/9054003/","projectTitle":"Adventure in a Tray","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Bright","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3144133"},{"teacherId":1791658,"projectId":9047585,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generosity, our classroom received durable, flexible Tuff Tables that have transformed the way my students learn and collaborate. These tables have quickly become the heart of our learning environment.\r\n\r\nFrom the moment we unboxed and set them up, the energy in the room changed. The Tuff Tables gave students the freedom to work together more comfortably and confidently. Whether we were diving into group STEM projects, building literacy skills with partner games, the tables helped create a space that felt more student-centered and engaging.\r\n\r\nWhat stood out most was the change in participation. Students who were once hesitant to speak up or contribute began to lean in—literally and figuratively. The flexibility of the tables encouraged movement and made it easier for everyone to find a comfortable space to learn. It created a more inclusive and collaborative classroom culture.\r\n\r\nThank you for giving my students a space where they feel comfortable, focused, and inspired to learn every day.","fullyFundedDate":1736823205994,"projectUrl":"project/hands-on-discovery/9047585/","projectTitle":"Hands-on Discovery","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Ramsey","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1791658_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1626751690942","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-georgiaramsey"},{"teacherId":8306847,"projectId":9075673,"letterContent":"Tuff trays have become an essential tool in our classroom, allowing students to engage in sensory activities that support their cognitive, emotional, and social growth. Sensory play not only supports cognitive development but also enhances fine motor skills, encourages problem-solving, and helps children regulate their emotions.\r\n\r\nThe positive impact of sensory play within the classroom is far-reaching. Through this hands-on, multi-sensory approach, children develop crucial life skills, deepen their understanding of the world around them, and are better equipped to face new challenges with creativity and resilience.
