The materials and supplies that I am requesting will help students who have been isolated during the pandemic feel a sense of 'normalcy' again. The books will be read by a teacher and they go along with our reading curriculum. The craft supplies will be used to make projects to coincide with the story books. Albert Eistien once said that "play is the highest form of research." With the career based costumes, students will learn how to interact appropriatly with one another while they are learning. This area will be set up with lots of environmental print, opportunities for students to write, and learn social skills. The math manipulatives are a much more exciting way for the students to learn; playing games, partner work, and work in whole group activities.
