Some projects the kids have done are a video game watercolor design, paper-mache Day of the Dead masks, and very soon clay Xmas ornaments.\r\nThe supplies we received have been super helpful. The disposable drink ware and cups were useful for alternative paint supplies. Wipes and towels are an excellent alternative for clean up since the class does not have a sink. These books were based on the American Revolution. I truly believe that students learn best with hands on projects. Being able to not only write, but draw out their learning is crucial especially for English Learners. These books not only told a story but also gave them a chance to increase their academic vocabulary. Incorporating this into their drawing was essential because students learn better when they are exposed to not only words, but also their own interpretation and drawing of their understanding.","fullyFundedDate":1746463496780,"projectUrl":"project/academic-excellency/9113664/","projectTitle":"Academic Excellency","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Crofford","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8560786"},{"teacherId":9628680,"projectId":9151771,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for helping fund my end of year project. The calculators and pencil sharpener made things run so much smoother in my class. We had gotten to a point where we only had five calculators for 30 students which really slowed down how much we could practice on level topics. \r\nThe copy paper meant that we could continue to do work that was appropriate for the level my students are at. The textbooks we had last year were too advanced for them which meant I needed to copy other resources but the school ran out of paper. \r\nThe colored pencils we will end up using more this year as spring testing schedule took over most of our activity days. But they will make a big impact on what I am able to do for those activity days.","fullyFundedDate":1741714054736,"projectUrl":"project/basic-supplies-for-the-end-of-the-year/9151771/","projectTitle":"Basic Supplies for the End of the Year","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Wolfe","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9628680_orig.jpg?crop=421,421,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1723075202933","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9628680"},{"teacherId":8560786,"projectId":9061872,"letterContent":"Many people use technology at home.
