Other students have been using the materials to practice making their own books from start to finish - gluing a text block, making the hard case, and fitting the pieces together into a pocket-sized book. Nearly every activity I have done thus far has depended on the laminated sheets, pencils, paper, and expo markers that were donated to me through DonorsChoose. \r\n\r\nAs far as the books that were donated to my class, I have yet to have the opportunity to have students choose to read one. Students have noticed them, but there has not been much free time in my class for them to be able to indulge in reading. Our school recently became a bell-to-bell no cell school, so most students also already have their own books to read from our library.
