It is rechargeable and keeps me from having to stay near an electrical outlet to use it with students. We all love having different colors of glue sticks. I would rather that students spend more time on building and less time on taking items apart.\r\n\r\nStudents love creating with marshmallows. It gets messy but that is part of the fun. I love seeing the collaboration with teams to solve challenges. We actually received large marshmallows in this shipment instead of the mini size. I also have my students record themselves reading everyday. It was less money than the original saw, so I was able to also get a book on making slime and a Cubelets robot block. This new saw is very similar to the original one we requested. The dust drawer even has a light. The package of cardboard sheets will be gone soon, but I have been collecting thin boxes at home and around the school for a long time. I know there will be plenty of boxes to save from the trash can when school starts back in August.\r\n\r\nThis is such a great product for all of our students to use safely and creatively. Even with the generous matching funding from OG&E, I never thought it would happen as fast as it did!\r\n\r\nI found out that the Lakeshore Magnetic Ball Run was out of stock. I was able to wait for it to be available. It was an exciting day when the items arrived at school. This marble run works exactly like I thought it would. It is able to be used easily by all ages in my STEM room due to the magnets in each piece. The Purell spray has been important because I can mist down materials quickly between classes and at the end of the day. It dries very quickly.
