The snacks have provided a simple but powerful way to keep them focused and energized throughout the day, and the centers have quickly become a highlight in our routine. They now walk into class eager to see what activity is waiting for them, and the sense of joy and curiosity has been contagious.\r\n\r\nOne of the most memorable moments came when we introduced our literacy center. Students who are often shy about reading began participating with more confidence, eager to share their answers with their peers. The hands-on resources gave them the freedom to learn in creative ways, and I could see the boost in their engagement and self-esteem almost immediately. The snacks have also had an impact, ensuring that no child is distracted by hunger and that each one can bring their full attention to learning.\r\n\r\nAs we continue to use these resources, my next step is to expand on student-led group work. I spent many hours this summer trying to clean our plastic trays that were used for crayons on individual tables. Now we have these perfectly clean ones to hold other supplies. I am excited that we have these new rolls of filament to make 3D prints. Students love to take these small models home with them and to give me ideas they would like to print. The Play-Doh was not available, so I was able to order some magnetic building sets for the students to create awesome designs.
