Not only are they exciting about having something new, they are excited to have their own headphones and ones that actually work! We no longer have to share and that it wonderful.\r\nOur new headphones also have microphones on them which make it so much easier for them to record themselves reading to me. They then place it back to themselves and it just adds to the excitement. They also have a headphone home for their very own headphones. My school is a Title 1 school. It is located in a low-income, high poverty, high crime district. \r\n\r\nThey often face challenges that no child should face. Our classroom is a friendly place my children come to each day not only to learn but to feel welcome, comfortable, and safe; they are a close team. I feel it is extremely important that they be excited to come to OUR classroom each day.\r\n\r\nMy students learn new things and get involved in each others learning experience. My students get so excited when are learning a new concept.
