We are almost ready for the school year to begin. New markers are ready for all the new pictures that will be drawn. Brand new pencils are ready for all the writing that we will be doing, they also use markers for this. A brand new collection of googly eyes for all the crafts that will be made. Paper clips for helping organize all the papers for the kids and myself. New laminating sheets for our brand new alphabet and all of the name tags and other projects. The Mr. Sketch markers are a favorite of everyone, they love to get to pick the color for their smiley face on their papers, and just smelling the markers before they pick one. The red pom pom balls are for a Christmas craft that we haven't gotten to yet but I'm so glad that we have them.\r\nThank you again for all the support for my classroom the kids are excited for all the new stuff coming this year.","fullyFundedDate":1778227228296,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-restock/10161774/","projectTitle":"Classroom Restock","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Makena","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7524830_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1603426475179","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7524830"},{"teacherId":7524830,"projectId":10098936,"letterContent":"My class was so excited when our packages arrived, they were ready to help me open them. When we talked about our class garden they had big ideas that we tried to meet. When I got the raised beds set up they were ready for the fun to begin. They put the dirt in the bed and then we talked about what we were planting in each bed. We planted tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes, potatoes and flowers. They loved watering everyday and just checking to see if anything happened. \r\nWe planted the sunflowers and then put them in the window until they were ready to go home as mother's day gifts. They kids would look at our outdoor plants and then would run inside to check on their flowers. They took turns watering everyday and were just so excited. \r\nWe didn't get the harvest that we were hoping for, we got some potatoes, but that's really it so far. We are getting ready to plant some pumpkins in one of the beds, so they can watch and learn about the pumpkin life cycle.","fullyFundedDate":1775057785202,"projectUrl":"project/introduction-to-gardening/10098936/","projectTitle":"Introduction to Gardening","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Makena","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7524830_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1603426475179","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7524830"},{"teacherId":7524830,"projectId":9221523,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for all the help getting ready for the new school year. We ran out of pencils Last year so its great to have some to start out the year with. My kids love having Markers at the writing center, They just are not good at putting the lids back on them. \r\n\r\nThe binding combs will come in handy later in the year when I make the kids their own workbooks/ dry erase books.
