They colored their little hearts out, created backgrounds, learned about sequencing, and practiced retelling over and over until they got it just right. Then they were able to perform for their teachers AND our principal!\r\n\r\nNot only are these skills on Oklahoma Academic Standards for English Language Arts, but they are also cross-referenced on our Information Technology Standards for Education and American Association of School Librarian standards. So our kiddos are bopping to the top, hitting all those benchmarks on their way!\r\n\r\nMost of all, our students enjoy this hands-on project so very much. They're laughing, smiling, spooking themselves and each other, and having a grand 'ole time while learning.
