Because of your support, we received new soccer balls/nets , basketballs, dodgeballs, bases, and a much-needed ball organizer that have completely refreshed our equipment inventory. Before your donation, many of our students were using equipment that had become worn out, damaged, or outdated after years of daily use. Although we always did our best to create meaningful lessons, old equipment often limited participation and made it more difficult for students to develop the skills and confidence they needed. Thanks to your kindness, my students now have reliable, high-quality equipment that allows them to fully participate in every lesson. The new ball organizer has also helped us keep everything organized and accessible, giving us more instructional time and teaching students the importance of caring for shared resources. Instead of spending valuable class time searching for equipment or working around broken materials, we can focus on learning, moving, and having fun together. The excitement on my students' faces when they first saw the new equipment was unforgettable, and their enthusiasm has continued to grow with every class.\r\nThe impact of your donation reaches far beyond simply replacing old equipment. My students are more eager than ever to participate in physical education because they have access to quality materials that help them feel successful and included. Whether they are practicing soccer skills, improving their basketball dribbling and shooting, participating in cooperative dodgeball activities, or learning teamwork through games using our new bases, every student has an opportunity to stay actively engaged throughout class. Physical education provides students with opportunities to improve their physical health, coordination, balance, strength, and overall fitness while also developing lifelong habits that support healthy living. It is also a place where students build confidence, encourage one another, solve problems, and learn valuable lessons about teamwork, perseverance, communication, respect, and sportsmanship. Since receiving these supplies, I have noticed students showing greater excitement, increased participation, and a stronger willingness to challenge themselves as they practice new skills. Having dependable equipment removes barriers and creates an environment where every student can experience success, regardless of their current athletic ability or previous experience.\r\n\r\nOn behalf of my students and our entire school community, thank you for believing in the value of physical education and making this project possible. Your generosity has provided much more than new equipment; you have created opportunities for students to grow physically, socially, and emotionally while building positive memories that will last for years. Every soccer pass, basketball shot, game of dodgeball, and team activity reminds us that someone cared enough to invest in our success. Your support has inspired my students to stay active, work together, and enjoy learning through movement in ways that simply would not have been possible with our previous equipment. These resources will continue to benefit hundreds of students for many years, creating lasting opportunities for healthier lifestyles, stronger relationships, and greater confidence. Thank you for making such a meaningful and lasting impact on our physical education program and on the lives of the students I have the privilege of teaching every day.","fullyFundedDate":1766494411166,"projectUrl":"project/building-teamwork-one-ball-at-a-time/9666987/","projectTitle":"Building Teamwork: One Ball at a Time","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Mansel","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5876891"},{"teacherId":10419407,"projectId":10062306,"letterContent":"Our new art supplies have quickly become a meaningful part of our daily! When the students first saw the new materials, their excitement was immediate and contagious. Many of them were eager to explore the different textures and colors, and even students who are typically hesitant to try new activities were drawn in. There was a sense of pride in having fresh, high-quality supplies just for them, and it created an environment where they felt motivated and valued. That enthusiasm carried over into their work, leading to increased focus, creativity, and collaboration.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, we are continuing to build on these skills through a cross-curricular project that combines art with literacy. Students are beginning a storytelling unit where they will create visual storyboards and character designs to accompany simple narratives they are writing in class. This next step allows them to express their understanding in multiple ways while reinforcing both communication and fine motor development. We're excited to see how their creativity continues to grow as they use these resources to bring their ideas to life.","fullyFundedDate":1769619299452,"projectUrl":"project/get-your-learning-on-with-crafts/10062306/","projectTitle":"Get Your Learning on With Crafts!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. McDonald","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10419407"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_86448","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1108,"numTeachers":59,"percentFrplEligible":92,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":22,"percentWhite":27,"percentIndigenous":4,"percentLatinx":25,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":1,"percentMultiracialImputed":17,"gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"18.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_SMALL"},"inStateSupporters":54.9,"schoolId":86448,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Eisenhower Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Eisenhower Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/oklahoma/lawton-public-schools/eisenhower-middle-school/86448"}
