This simple yet powerful tool has completely transformed engagement during lessons. Being able to show their work, solve problems collaboratively, and quickly erase and adjust their thinking has made learning feel more interactive and low-pressure. Having graphic organizers and manipulatives readily available at their desks has also made a noticeable difference in how students approach new math concepts. They are more confident taking risks, making connections, and exploring different strategies to solve problems because the tools they need are right at their fingertips.\r\n\r\nThe addition of the standing desk has also been a tremendous success. It has given students valuable flexibility and choice in how they learn best. Many students enjoy having the option to stand while working, which helps with focus, energy regulation, and overall comfort throughout the day. The wobble stools have been especially beneficial — their adjustable heights make them accessible for all students and provide the movement some learners need to stay attentive and engaged. This flexibility has not only supported students' physical needs but also created a more inclusive and dynamic learning environment.\r\n\r\nOverall, these additions have encouraged more collaboration, creativity, and ownership of learning. The students feel empowered to make choices about how they learn, and the classroom environment has become more student-centered, responsive, and active as a result.","fullyFundedDate":1691871415860,"projectUrl":"project/swinging-into-the-new-year/7647865/","projectTitle":"Swinging Into the New Year","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Whiteley","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8295335_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y386&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1643998305154","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8295335"},{"teacherId":9925303,"projectId":9116292,"letterContent":"I can't describe how thankful I was when I saw that this project was fully funded. I am still so grateful to have these wobble stools in my class every day for students to use, and the students love using them. There's just enough for the horseshoe table when I pull small groups, but of course, where there's a need, they might go to individual students' desks. The stools are just right for my students—not too heavy, and they can move them as they need. \r\n\r\nThey came in big boxes, so naturally, students were curious to see what was inside (I hadn't told them about it). It was exciting to open the boxes and see the brand new wobble stools, creating a flexible seating option that they've wanted in my classroom for a while!\r\n\r\nAgain, thank you for your generous donation that has helped my students last year, this year, and will help many students in years to come.","fullyFundedDate":1746468379542,"projectUrl":"project/flexible-seating-to-improve-student-focu/9116292/","projectTitle":"Flexible Seating to Improve Student Focus","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Isaac","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9925303_orig.jpg?crop=271,271,x255,y186&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1739672162624","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9925303"},{"teacherId":9938951,"projectId":9243316,"letterContent":"I teach pre-algebra and Algebra 1 to 6th graders.
