The kitchen invites students to collaborate to create meals, envision having their own restaurant, or one of their favorites, playing house. The easel is a world of imagination for my students. They cannot wait for their turn to make the black and white board into something magical. I have had students create portraits of themselves and their families, draw the entire solar system, and practice skills we have learned in class, like making a map. \r\nNeedless to say, your donation went far beyond the money you gave. Only 4 students at a time get to play at this center, and it is always the first choice of my students! Students used their critical thinking and problem solving skills to troubleshoot any issues that would arise during this activity.\r\n\r\nWhen they learned they could take their model pig barns home to show their parents, their faces lit up!
