Every year I try to make movement and exercise fun during their 45-minute Physical Education time. Unfortunately, PE equipment is so expensive so I have to really plan and budget what I can add to my curriculum each year. Usually, I can only add a little bit at a time. One thing that is a fan favorite every year is SCOOTERS! Scooters are always something we can use in every grade level and you can do so many different activities with them. We can use them in large group games and small group games and the kiddos love them! We use them for fitness stations and then for small or large group games such as tagging games, scooter basketball, and ultimate frisbee. Right now I don’t have a full class set so everyone can play at the same time and I don’t have some of the larger ones some of my kids need.
