My biology students had an awesome time learning about bearded dragons and creating a perfect habitat for our new class pet. \r\nTo start the project, my students did a little research on bearded dragons and their native habitats. Next, they researched what is required to take care of bearded dragons in captivity. After all the research, my students got busy building the best habitat they could imagine for a class pet. \r\nThey worked in groups designing and planning. Working together they created a new \"home\" for our class pet. They filled our tank with decorations, rocks, the basking surface, and the hammocks. They finished off the project with installing proper lighting and heat lamps.\r\nThis project was fantastic! We had a great time, and learned so much! Thank you for helping us achieve our goals.
