My students are able to communicate within the games better and faster responses between each other in noisy rooms. They provide high-precision sensors (high DPI) and adjustable settings for unparalleled accuracy and control, crucial for aiming in first-person shooters or quick navigation in strategy games. They provide crystal-clear audio output for the player and noise-canceling microphones that ensure teammates hear only the student's voice, free from background noise. This clear communication is non-negotiable for competitive teams and helps students practice collaboration skills. Block out external distractions, creating a focused, immersive environment, which is also beneficial for concentration during academic work or remote learning. The keyboards and mice allow my computer based players to have better response and accuracy within the games and more success in competitions. Thank you so much for the donation, my students and myself greatly appreciate your generosity.","fullyFundedDate":1755610050773,"projectUrl":"project/esports-elevate/9562403/","projectTitle":"Esports Elevate","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Rue","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9176774"},{"teacherId":9787834,"projectId":8850365,"letterContent":"Again thank you from the bottom of my heart for donating this incredible reading experience to my classroom. Each day for the last several weeks, students came into class, read a couple chapters of The Boys in The Boat, and were transported back in time as we learned about the life of Joe Rantz. For those of you who haven't had the pleasure of reading this book, it truly is meant to touch the heart and souls of everyone who reads it. We were less than six chapters in and students were already learning lessons about empathy and compassion for others. Students who generally don't usually engage in the class discussion in my humanities class have been some of the most engaged when we read this book. \r\n\r\nI had a student come up to me after we read one of the more difficult chapters, with tear in their eyes and said, \"How could someone treat another human being like that? I just don't understand it.\" Questions like that are exactly what I wanted my students to ask. As a teacher I saw several students that could relate to Joe Rantz, the main character in the book. Students that come from impoverished homes, students which struggle with food insecurity, and students who often struggle to see anything successful come from our small rural community. However, I also saw students who come from privilege and better home living situations feel empathy and compassion towards other students as we would have class discussions. \r\n\r\nThe Story of The Boys in The Boat has been one of great depression (quite literally) but also one of great triumph. I hope one lesson that each of my students take away is that they can do ANYTHING with enough determination and hard work in spite of their own circumstances, and how we treat one another in this life makes a difference for everyone. Thank you for allowing me to provide such a meaningful story to my students that I hope they will cherish for many years to come.","fullyFundedDate":1728000896102,"projectUrl":"project/row-row-reading-a-great-book-about-lif/8850365/","projectTitle":"Row, Row, Reading A Great Book about Life!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. McSpadden","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9787834_orig.jpg?crop=2400,2400,x0,y304&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1727825610959","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9787834"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_87259","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":241,"numTeachers":18,"percentFrplEligible":58,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":37,"percentIndigenous":46,"percentLatinx":6,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"13.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":75.0,"schoolId":87259,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Chelsea High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Chelsea High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/oklahoma/chelsea-school-district-3/chelsea-high-school/87259"}
