The students love having the laminated items that they can use multiple times for a variety of activities throughout the week. These items will also last for years to come and because they are organized by weekly lessons in each monthly binder I will be able to plan more effectively and efficiently next years and beyond allowing me to spend more time focusing on optimizing student learning.","fullyFundedDate":1728391424493,"projectUrl":"project/lets-get-organized/8856553/","projectTitle":"Let's Get Organized!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Baker","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7239783_orig.jpg?crop=771,771,x21,y200&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1726262684156","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7239783"},{"teacherId":7239783,"projectId":8774759,"letterContent":"The students in my class are so excited to read a new story each week. They are studying character traits, author's purpose, point of view, cause and effect, and many other reading skills. The students love learning vocabulary and finding the words in the story each week. One of their favorite activities is to create a weekly anchor chart that uses the story to focus on our main skill for the week. We are also able to compare characters and ideas from each story for the month. I have seen a dramatic improvement in the students' ability to retain the skills we are practicing each week and I believe it is because they find the stories more interesting than using a text book.","fullyFundedDate":1727977790836,"projectUrl":"project/help-us-get-rooted-in-reading/8774759/","projectTitle":"Help Us Get Rooted in Reading!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Baker","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7239783_orig.jpg?crop=771,771,x21,y200&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1726262684156","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7239783"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_87322","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":208,"numTeachers":13,"percentFrplEligible":54,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":76,"percentIndigenous":2,"percentLatinx":11,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"16.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":63.2,"schoolId":87322,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Central Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Central Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/oklahoma/central-high-public-schools/central-high-elementary-school/87322"}
