Since moving around the classroom and collaborating together keeps my students most engaged, I incorporate stations into our daily routine. These materials I am asking for will help improve our stations. The Lakeshore Writing Activity Station will enhance our writing center by making it more hands-on and engaging. It has many different activities so they will have plenty of options to choose from. It will allow them to use and practice their writing skill in a way that they want. With the Fairy Tale Book and CD set they will have a variety of fairy tale books to choose from in our listening station. These books build imagination. My students will be able to listen and follow along with the books helping build fluency. I have the Dr. Seuss Book and CD Set listed for our listening station as well. What better way to learn sight words than Dr. Seuss? With the repetition of sight words in the Dr. Seuss series they will get plenty of exposure to really build their sight word fluency and vocabulary. The Write and Wipe board and pockets will make our writing station more than just paper and pencil writing. This will get them excited about practicing their writing. Stations help expand their understanding and let them practice their skills in a way that is fun for them; With your help my students can move about the classroom and work together at well plan and equipped academic stations. I know that stations are effective and keep them highly engaged. With your help I can work with small groups while the other students are engaged in stations practicing and building reading and writing skills. We would appreciate it more than you would ever know!
