The Magna-Tiles, crayons, markers, highlighters, erasers, paper, and colored pencils have already become an important part of our classroom. These supplies are helping my students learn, create, express themselves, and feel more confident in their everyday schoolwork.\r\n\r\nMy students are using the new supplies every day. The crayons, markers, colored pencils, highlighters, and paper are being used for a variety of classroom assignments, including reading, writing, math, and creative projects. Students use the highlighters to identify important information, the colored pencils and markers to create projects, and the paper for writing and showing their work. The erasers have also been very helpful because they allow students to correct their mistakes and try again. This is especially important for helping students understand that making a mistake is a normal part of learning and that they should not be afraid to keep trying.\r\n\r\nThe Magna-Tiles have been one of the biggest hits with my students. We use them during appropriate free time, and the students love building different structures such as houses, towers, and buildings. They have also provided opportunities for students to work together, communicate, share materials, and solve problems. One of my favorite moments was watching several students work together to build a structure. Each student had their own ideas, and they had to learn how to listen to one another and work as a team. When they finished their creation, they were so proud to show it to me. It was wonderful to see their excitement and confidence.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw all of the new materials, they were extremely excited. They immediately wanted to look through the supplies and see what they could use. The Magna-Tiles especially caught their attention because they were something new and exciting for them to explore. They were also excited to have new crayons, markers, colored pencils, and highlighters for their schoolwork. Having new and interesting materials has helped make some classroom activities more engaging and has encouraged students to take greater pride in their work.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we will continue using these supplies throughout the school year. Our students are working on building academic skills while also developing independence, communication, creativity, problem-solving, and confidence. The writing and art supplies will continue to support our daily lessons, assignments, and special projects. The Magna-Tiles will continue to provide opportunities for creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving during free time.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, these donations have helped create a classroom environment where my students have the tools they need to learn and succeed. Your generosity shows my students that there are people who believe in them and want them to have opportunities to grow. I am incredibly thankful for your support and for the difference you are making in our classroom. Every supply, no matter how small, gives my students another opportunity to learn, create, explore, and be successful. Thank you for investing in my students and helping make our classroom a more engaging, welcoming, and exciting place to learn!","fullyFundedDate":1783969176980,"projectUrl":"project/organized-spaces-engaged-minds/10298069/","projectTitle":"Organized Spaces, Engaged Minds","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Jacobs","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10515330"},{"teacherId":4013567,"projectId":9854532,"letterContent":"When the new floor seats first arrived, the atmosphere in our classroom was absolutely electric. My students were beyond excited and couldn't wait to start using them; there was a literal buzz of energy as they gathered around to see the new additions to our space. This immediate enthusiasm has translated into a daily eagerness to engage with our lessons. We use these seats as a key component of our flexible seating transition, allowing students to move away from traditional desks to find a spot where they feel most focused and comfortable.\r\n\r\nA specific moment that stands out was during our recent \"Literary Circles\" project. I watched a small group of three students grab their floor seats and form a tight, collaborative circle in the corner of the room. Because they were at eye level with one another and physically comfortable, the dynamic of their discussion shifted; they were more attentive to each other's ideas and stayed on task for the entire duration of the block. Whether they are tucked away for independent reading or huddled together for partner brainstorming, these seats have provided a sense of autonomy and comfort that was previously missing from our environment.\r\n\r\nBy offering these options, I have noticed a significant increase in student engagement and a decrease in restless behavior. The seats have turned our classroom into a more inviting and student-centered space where my class feels empowered to take ownership of their learning. These aren't just cushions; they are tools that have helped us build a more focused, collaborative, and joyful community of learners.","fullyFundedDate":1761475946387,"projectUrl":"project/the-right-fit-personalized-learning-thr/9854532/","projectTitle":"The Right Fit: Personalized Learning Through Seating","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Lee","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4013567_272x272.png?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1476913564715","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4013567"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_85650","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":358,"numTeachers":18,"percentFrplEligible":76,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":2,"percentWhite":81,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":7,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":7,"gradesServed":"4 - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"19.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":80.0,"schoolId":85650,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Noble Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Noble Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/ohio/tiffin-city-school-district/noble-elementary-school/85650"}
