Your generosity has had a meaningful impact on my junior and senior Interactive Media students.\r\n\r\nWe are actively using the donated resources in a hands-on design project. Students used Adobe Illustrator to draw and recreate original designs, then transferred those designs to the Cricut machine. Using the vinyl provided through this project, students cut their designs, carefully weeded them, and layered them onto cups and pouches. The mini irons worked perfectly, especially for applying heat-activated vinyl to the pouches, and allowed students to see the full production process from digital design to finished product.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the materials, they were excited and eager to get started. Many had never worked with professional-grade tools like these before, and they immediately took pride in learning how to use them correctly. The energy in the room was incredible.\r\n\r\nWhat stood out most was how much students loved creating a real, tangible product. Several students shared that they enjoyed being able to customize something they could actually take home. Having a finished product made the learning feel more authentic and helped them better understand how design skills translate to real-world applications.\r\n\r\nNext, students will continue building on these skills by refining their design techniques, exploring branding concepts, and creating more advanced projects that simulate client-based work.
