We are all so excited! Last year we played the ukulele and they have been asking me about the guitar for so long. We unboxed them a few weeks ago in class and their eyes lit up as soon as they saw them. They ask me every time I see them when we will be starting them.\r\n\r\nNext week we will learn the basics of the guitar, the parts and how to take care of it. Then we will go on to learn string names and a few basic chords. The goal is to have them be able to play 1-2 songs by the end of the school year for their concert in May. \r\n\r\nYour donation has given students who never would've had the opportunity to play the guitar a chance to find their passion.
