Each student received their own pair of headphones with a built-in microphone, along with sensory strips they personally selected for their desk and computer. These tools have transformed how my students experience learning. For the first time, all students can independently access math i-Ready, science instruction, and state testing with text read aloud—without feeling different or left behind. Before this project, students who were unable to bring headphones from home had no choice but to struggle through assessments on their own, even when their reading level made that unfair. Your support changed that reality.\r\n\r\nWhat excites students most is the sense of ownership and relief these tools provide. Putting on their headphones signals a calm, focused learning space where they can truly concentrate and understand what is being asked of them. The sensory strips have been especially meaningful—students reach for them during testing, difficult lessons, or moments of anxiety, using them as quiet reassurance that helps them stay grounded. These small but powerful tools help students regulate their emotions so they can focus on learning rather than stress.\r\n\r\nFor some students, the impact has been truly profound. Students who once shut down during assessments now approach them with confidence. Students who hesitated to participate are more willing to engage, speak, and try. This project did more than provide supplies—it removed barriers, created equity, and sent a powerful message to my students that they are worthy of support. Thank you for believing in my classroom and for giving my students the tools they need to succeed. Your kindness is felt every single day.","fullyFundedDate":1757722763993,"projectUrl":"project/make-testing-easier/9445880/","projectTitle":"Make Testing Easier","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Lash","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10070568_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1759182325668","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/multiplythemagic"},{"teacherId":10054916,"projectId":9849781,"letterContent":"Our students have truly benefited from the new books added to our classroom, and they have introduced important reading skills and meaningful lessons. Through these texts, students are building comprehension, expanding vocabulary, and strengthening their ability to think critically about what they read. They are learning how to make connections, identify key ideas, and engage in deeper discussions. Reading in my classroom is active and hands on. Students read independently, work in small groups, and participate in activities that allow them to interact with the text in meaningful ways.\r\n\r\nSmall group PIE time has been especially successful. The students absolutely love using Scrabble and Bingo during this time, and these resources make it easy for me to differentiate lessons to meet individual needs. They enjoy working with our Title teacher and feel confident practicing skills in a fun and supportive setting. The Expo markers have also been a huge hit. Students love using them to write, solve problems, and share ideas. They especially enjoy being able to write on the tables during labs and STEM challenges, which encourages collaboration and creativity.\r\n\r\nThe notes have been extremely helpful for our students, especially those who learn best visually. Many of our students thrive with doodle notes, and they are excited to use their new notebooks to draw, organize, and record their learning. These tools have truly helped keep students engaged and motivated. Thank you so much for your generosity and support. You have helped make this school year a greater success for my students.","fullyFundedDate":1763587990568,"projectUrl":"project/learning-without-limits-empowering-litt/9849781/","projectTitle":"Learning without Limits: Empowering Little Minds","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Richardson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10054916_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1761011521953","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10054916"},{"teacherId":4538151,"projectId":9082504,"letterContent":"Thank you again for your generous donation! My students are excited to explore new topics. They look forward to reading the magazines on Fridays. They love to read about topics they can relate to and have engaging conversations with their peers.\r\n\r\nIt was also a personal joy for me to receive these and share my love of the magazines from when I was a student.
