The badminton rackets and birdies, dodgeballs, soccer balls, and jump ropes have given them new ways to move, play, and work together. We now rotate through simple skill stations—practicing badminton rallies, dribbling and passing in soccer, jump rope challenges, and team dodgeball games that focus on cooperation rather than just competition. One moment that really stayed with me was seeing a group of students patiently teaching each other how to serve in badminton. They celebrated every successful hit like it was a championship point.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new equipment, their excitement was immediate and genuine. They asked if it was really for our class and couldn't wait to start playing. Even students who are usually hesitant during PE quickly joined in. The jump ropes have been especially popular, with students counting for one another and trying to beat their personal bests. It has been wonderful to see them encourage each other instead of sitting on the sidelines.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we are building more structured games that focus on teamwork, responsibility, and skill development. Students are beginning to take turns leading warm-ups and organizing small group activities using the equipment you provided. Your support has made recess and PE more inclusive, active, and meaningful for my students. Thank you for giving them opportunities to move, grow, and build confidence together.","fullyFundedDate":1766157933381,"projectUrl":"project/play-with-purpose-energizing-recess-and/9842217/","projectTitle":"Play With Purpose: Energizing Recess and PE Time","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Ric Angelo M.
