The children needed the tools to aid in helping to calm their emotions when they get a little escalated and teach them all about their feelings and the feelings of others. It is amazing to receive support from family and friends to help the other educators and me in doing our job in the classroom. It was important to me to put the request out there to help me at my job and building relationship with the students in the classroom. When you helped the students get the new classroom supplies, it showed me that my role makes a difference in the community. \r\n\r\nThe future of the students is everything by the knowledge and experience they endure in the classroom. It is about the tools they have access too and how they learn to use these tools. They need the time to build knowledge, build relationships, and gather their thoughts and emotions. With the cushion, the weighted bear, and all the feeling signs and toys that you donated; they discover themselves and learn about feelings without having to call their families because they want to go home.
