The 3D printer filament will give students more opportunities to design, create, and turn their ideas into real objects they can hold, test, and improve. It will help them see technology as more than something they use at home, it can be a powerful tool for engineering, problem-solving, creativity, and learning.\r\n\r\nThe storage materials, scissor stand, laminator, safety glasses, vinyl, craft sticks, and other supplies will also help us create a more organized, safe, and student-friendly workspace. Students will be able to find materials more independently, take greater responsibility for our classroom tools, and have more options when completing hands-on STEAM challenges and projects.\r\n\r\nI am especially excited to see which students really connect with the 3D printing and building opportunities. Hands-on learning often gives students who may not always shine during traditional lessons a chance to show their creativity, persistence, and problem-solving skills in a different way. These materials will help give all of our students more chances to design, build, experiment, make mistakes, and try again.
