I waited till all the boxes arrived, my students kept asking, but I kept it a secret. Finally when they all arrived, I explained to them about the grant and asked if they were ready to open them. Of course teaching had to stop because all the children wanted to see what was in there. They were surprised with the items because they knew it was for them to use. I loved watching them so excited. They wanted to start using them right then! \r\n\r\nOur chair pockets for storage will help students organize their belongings so they can focus on their work and continue to be excited to learn. Along with the chair pockets, the privacy folders will give them independence to work in their own space so they can be eager to work at their own pace.\r\n\r\nThis experience will be memorable because of their smiling faces when something new arrived for them to use in the classroom daily. I was able to share with them about Donors Choose and how people and businesses want to give to the students. Many of them were asking lots of questions about Donors Choose.
