When the new parts arrived the room buzzed with energy: students examined components, revised designs, and shifted from asking if something could be made to asking how it could be improved. With the upgraded resources we strengthened drivetrain stability, improved structural supports, and developed a more precise control system—culminating in a test where the robot completed a complex scoring cycle exactly as intended, a first for the team that built real confidence through iteration and problem-solving.\r\n\r\nThe upgraded equipment had measurable results beyond that moment of success. At our FTC qualifier the team earned the Control Award—the first award in our history—recognized specifically for advanced programming and system reliability, achievements that were directly enabled by the new components. Although we didn't advance to state, the students returned more organized, strategic, and energized, already planning targeted improvements for next season instead of feeling discouraged.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we will analyze this season's design, document lessons learned, and create offseason training modules so new members develop skills faster. Students are especially eager to refine autonomous programming and boost mechanical efficiency; their focus has shifted from limitations to optimization. Your support did more than supply parts—it raised our students' expectations of what they can achieve and helped them build a stronger, more confident team.","fullyFundedDate":1755713434518,"projectUrl":"project/decode-the-rats-help-us-do-well-on/9585403/","projectTitle":"Decode the R.A.T.S.!
