Students across our classrooms have been able to remain engaged in their learning while using wobble seats, scoop chairs and cube chairs. \r\n\r\nSeveral children with sensory challenges have shown improvement during large group and small group instruction. They are more focused and can better follow teacher expectations. Allowing them to move their bodies while still being part of a group has also supported building peer relationships as they engage with each other. \r\n\r\nWe continue to use the flexible seating options as a strategy for student support plans, intervention plans and classroom support plans.
