The space has been completed and used by children already! It has quickly become a favorite space for the children and teachers alike! \r\nThe large equipment of swing, sensory canoe/pea pod, and bouncy ball have been utilized daily by children, allowing them the movement feedback their bodies crave. The light coverings, string lights and bubble lamps have allowed the space to become softly lit and less aggressive than the bright fluorescent lights throughout the building. We have been able to stock the space with a variety of small sensory items, including playdough, fidgets, weighted balls, bubble wands, and bubble timers. Weighted vests, blankets, lap pads and stuffed animals have also been included. \r\nThis room allows children to get the sensory input they need to focus, learn and thrive, and EVERY child deserves the opportunity for that! Thank you for being so generous and supporting my project. Without you, this project would still be a hope and a dream.
